CROSA stands for Confederation of Rapid Orbital Services Agency. This semi-state enterprise was established as part of the system-wide restructuring following the attacks of 2187, merging several independent transport firms across the Ionos System.

Typically, the wormhole is only traversed by specialized "Rafts." Standard starships do not enter the singularity themselves; instead, they dock with the Raft or transfer passengers and cargo directly onto the platform.

The wormhole generator is positioned in a retro-orbit. The Raft approaches the singularity at a velocity of approximately 100 km/s.

To manage the staggering energy requirements, the wormhole is stabilized for only one second before collapsing. During this brief window, the Raft passes through the fold and emerges instantly within the Sol System.
